By identifying whether a student demonstrates accuracy and fluency when reading a passage, an educator is able to categorize the intervention needs of the student. Participants will: learn the four types of reading behavior present in every classroom, identify student needs in each of the four categories, and discuss instructional practices to improve reading.
The target audience for this session is teachers of 1st-5th grade students.
